edgar allen poem vision

Have you listened through the rain?
to know the dusty road is riddled with it's pain
It's never going to speak aloud to hands and ears
so who compares
a forests leaves to waterfalls?
or winter rain to summer clouds?
the muted mouths of flowing rivers struggle and it makes no sense at all
but if the buildings stopped their constant screaming maybe we could hear the forest fall
